Pluck… Pluck… Goose! For Beginner 1 players. Introduction to the very basics as well as fundamental concepts like playing open chords, power chords, basic rhythm patterns in various styles, basic lead and single note playing. You’ll also learn guitar techniques such as hammer-on’s, pull-off’s and slides. Some great stuff here… including songs like Free Bird, Wild Thing, Come As You Are, I Wanna Be Sedated and more. By the end of this pathway you’ll be ready to address more challenging material in “The Graduate” pathway below.
The Graduate For Beginner 2 players. Build on your basic foundation with lessons in the styles of AC/DC, The Doobie Brothers, Dave Matthews, Green Day and many more . You’ll be introduced to both rhythm and lead guitar in a variety of different genre’s including classic rock, blues, contemporary acoustic, folk finger-style, funk and modern rock. You’ll learn techniques like barre chords, extended chords, finger picking, new right hand strumming/picking patterns and much more. At the end of this pathway you’ll graduate to the Intermediate level and be ready for one of the pathways below.
Acoustic Smoothie Acoustic Guitar – for Intermediate and Advanced players. Become all of the things a well rounded acoustic guitar player should be. Take Dave Matthews, Merle Travis, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Eric Clapton and John Mayer… put them in a blender and SHAZZAM! you get the “Acoustic Smoothie” pathway.
